On an annual visit home to KL, Ai-Leen Lim takes a walk on the old side. With Rakan KL.

I've been on one of these walks, they are very good.
There are lot's of opportunities to take lovely photo's, and from what I hear, the subjects of these photo's won't be standing much longer.
What made me even sadder was that we, as the public, are not allowed in to Stadium Merdeka anymore. (I mean, I know we couldn't just walk in 2 decades ago, but at least we could book the stadium for school sports days etc).

But this is NOT a sad walk, it is a lovely one where you get to reconnect with the KL you used to know and love.

Anyone else been on a Rakan KL walk?

... and here's the link to Rakan KL's fb page with notices of walks (when they happen), nice pics and like-minded contributions from all around KL:

Check out this nice article on Jalan Sin Chew Kee on Poskod.my, an online magazine:

Enjoy re-discovering KL.
